We all hide under fake Identities, hoping we are what we want each other to be. Disappointment slowly shading our lives in black ink, turning dangerously invisible as we go through life. We wait as if we can read minds, depending on others for answers to our own questions. Beautiful, often marked as distrust & uncertainty, we seek out the ugly & grant them with harsh words. Unfair laws trap us in chains, unable to fight for ourselves. We try to describe life & end up in tears.

  1. I just read Shiver and your poem reminds me so much of the characters in the book. I just wrote a review on my blog. You should check it out.
