a lesson for those like you
with you i don't know what to do
you don't understand how to act around me
you don't know how to just let me be
a happy couple we may seem to look like
but its you i dislike
i can't go on anymore with this
this was just a hit and miss
i hope you lesson is learned...

EXPRESS YOURSELF

express yourself to how you feel

when you write it down it becomes real

write whatever comes to mind

mine just happens to be in a rhyme

you don't have to express yourslef with a word

it's just good know that you're being heard

people used feet to dance all around

some people use hands to make a sound

you can express yourself through art as well

not everything will be a hit you might fail

but when you fall you just get back up

start trying again and put your head up...

TRANSFORMATION

sad faces all walking around

depressed and stressed not making a sound

dragging their feet everywhere they go

not walking fast but moving slow

i walk through feeling out of place

because i walked in with a smile on my face

everyone looking at me all crazy

my vision getting a little hazy

i've got to change this place real fast

at the end we'll all have a blast

i go to work to make everyone smile

to get those teenagers a phone number to dial

the place is alive now until forever

this way we're all off better

people are smiling and getting in the groove

before i get danced "over" i better move

i'm the same person,but new

because finally i'm happy not blue

everyone talking to me in the hallyway

i'm walking down the hall saying in my head it's a good day

hoping that this is how it's going to stay

new year,new me

and thats the way its supposed to be

new attitude and the rest to me is history

fights are in the past

so i dont feel like an outcast

the pain of letting someone down never makes me feel any better

the look on their faces when you say I'm sorry or

when you try to explain yourself that look is the one i dread

i no longer can satisfy them the way I always wanted to

you never know a person until they can express themselves to you

or more commonly when they let you down

the feeling that you can be the closest person to them

flies away when you see that you have been replaced

some cases where you let them down and its not where you're replaced

it is where you are abused

verbally or physically it still leaves scares in your mind where they can never be erased

you start to cry and they abuse you even more

you feel the pain of them hitting or calling you names

the pain of letting someone down never goes away
